Adrienne's dynamic, sensual voice on the saxophones, flutes and many more indigenous instruments express not only a vast array of musical culture and style, but also the magic and mystery of life! Spirit Wind: Adrienne's own band, feature Adrienne on soprano, alto and tenor saxes, as well as many different flutes, including traditional western; Native American; Indian; African; and Asian flutes, performing contemporary jazz and global music throughout the United States and internationally. Mastery of so many different instruments and musical genres including Jazz, Latin, Pop, Rock, Blues, Celtic, Classical, and more, have allowed Adrienne to dazzle spellbound audiences while seamlessly moving from one instrument and genre to another. Adrienne Nims and Spirit Wind; have enjoyed performing at such well known venues as the Getty Museum of Los Angeles; the California Center for the Arts; and major jazz festivals. Adrienne has opened for such greats as Spyro Gyra, Joe Cocker, Kirk Whalum, Boz Skaggs, Fourplay, Steppenwolf, Boney James, and Al DiMeola, just to name a few. Adrienne will be happy to play as a soloist or with her ensemble for your event, whether large or small, and with her versatility, give special attention to every detail!

Hey there! I’m a ukulele playing singer-songwriter from San Diego county. I love covering tons of popular tunes from yesteryear (think top 40 type stuff with a splash of rock and reggae for good measure). I also write and play a lot of original songs if that’s more your thing (feel free to check me out on YouTube or Spotify). I do a lot of live looping in my sets and occasionally use backing tracks to further expand my sound. My PA setup can cover just about any small to medium sized venue (both indoors and outdoors). All my equipment is battery powered, so don’t fret about having to place me near a power outlet; I got you covered!
